We are using all lessons learned from Swiss Eurobot to improve CICCIO’s performance.
Eventually, CICCIO will do its best while facing the opponent robots (we have seen there are strong ones!).
Stay tuned for further updates!
This week-end the Swiss Eurobot competition will take place in Yverdon-les-bains:
You can find the complete program of the event at the following links:
20 teams from Switzerland, Algeria, France and Austria will participate; CICCIO will be there, too ![]()
We are very excited and are working hard in the final testing phase of our robot.
We also like the scheduling of the matches: 8 qualification rounds and a final phase where you always get a second chance!
The host will provide a live streaming of the event: you can access it from the above links or by clicking the “LIVE” button on the upper right of our website.
It’s time to reveal more details about our robot, CICCIO!
The following video shows the evolution of CICCIO from its early stages:
At the very beginning of the video, you can see CICCIO doing its first steps, then we tested a single arm to collect pawns and build a simple tower.
The reminder of the video shows CICCIO in its final stage: 4 lateral arms and a front pincer allow CICCIO to collect the game elements. The robot is able to quickly build a full tower thanks to its rotation-based construction. CICCIO can carry up to 4 pawns and a full tower.
CICCIO will participate in the next Swiss Eurobot competition.
We are looking forward to meet the other teams and enjoy together the competion
Let us introduce CICCIO, the robot of the Unict Team that will take part in Eurobot 2011.
CICCIO was entirely designed using CAD and has the following main characteristics:
The motor controller and most of the device drivers have been written in C, while the strategies have been developed in Python.
